Tim felt similarly. He missed spending more time with his brother like they used to. He felt like he should spark up a conversation, like a real one, but he had nothing to say and stories from work didn't really seem appropriate. There was nothing he could say without being weird or needy.
"Yeah, I'll... no problem." Tim said. "Catch you."

"See ya later," With a bit of reluctance, Padril turned and left the store, hurrying down the street, already considering some catchy headlines. "Gordon Panics: Sentences Suspects to Death", "MLE Losing Touch With People, Responds By Killing Them." He could make history with this. He could save lives. He was making a god damn difference.
Yet he still wanted to have a decent conversation with his brother.
