The people in our country (USA) are embarrassing. Overweight, overconfident, and ambitious to the most rediculous things. Our freedoms are going to be our downfall. lmao that my friend it too true lmao my cousin thinks that she can pass art without studying. two guesses as to what happened lmao she failed art class. I guess she didn't know the primary colors lmao *shakes head in wonder* but like being ambtious isn't a bad thing. I am pestimistic as to what can happen so that I'm never let down lmao therefore I say that I could never ever be the congress(wo)man or senator or even a hopeful for the presidency lmao |

I am hoping to become senator one day but not president. It is a job for those whom can handle a lot of stress.
As for what I said earlier, it is almost true, but not for everyone. My main point was believing that democracy is going to be our downfall. Just go to public school, and you will see the supportive reasoning I have for this theory.

I'm almost ashamed to admit that I am also American. I know how boring it is - sorry fo rhtose of you who are patriotic, but I don't much like the people in this country. (Omitting you, of course, Juliet.  ) It is very true that we are lazy, arrogant, and hypocritical in the extreme. I only hope we don't destroy the world with our conceited and narrow-minded ways. I'm moving to England the first chance I get!  |

Even though our people are ignorant, we hlive in one of the best countries in the world (ironically). Our freedoms give us the right to preach what we want, and do what we want. This gives me the reason in staying here rather than moving off. However, from time to time, I wish to move to Spain someday if i do not get into politics.

I do agree with you there - we do have plenty of very valuable freedoms that not everyone else has. But we abuse them. We think that our freedoms come with no consequences - that information is harmless and for entertainment purposes only. I speak of the majority, of course, not of everyone. I know not all of the citizens are unintelligent, toss pots.  |

This is most definetly true Moira. Abusing has happened many times in our days.
I could not say what I truly thought on the web in what the country should do for it could stab me in the end later on in life. A future politician has to be careful with her words.
Never the less, I will be so bold as to agree with what you said.

Okay guys, I'm going to be the big meany that has to say this is way off topic, please get back on track with this thread, it is turning into a big collaboration of people's misfortune, and I'm sure that James doesn't want this thread, which was intended to be light-hearted, to turn into a hate-fest. Not that it isn't interesting to hear people's views on the politics of America, but I just don't think that this is the right place to do it.

I have big ambitions lmao I got grief about it at school. I hope to become a congess(wo)man and then a senator, then a governor, then run for president.
