They would need planning. Lots o time with planning. If Crystal is not a death eater anymore, than I was thinking on taking charge with Arabella when she is able to come out of Azkaban. i have a pretty good plan on how to get Arabella out.

Yeah, I'm sure that is a good idea. James, what is your opinion of other groups starting on the site, maybe some neutral factions. Kind of like, the people that really wanted to not pick a side in the war, but maybe take the battered side for themselves. Not that I'm thinking of starting one, just that it would be interesting to see people making their own factions, some cool plots, characters and it would add another layer of coolness to the site. So what say you, master admin?

Harley, nice signature, by the way. I also like what you are thinking too. On twom, it was allowed long ago when I made Damien, but unfortunetly, it failed due to my long time absense. If it is well made, and has interested members, I really see no problem with it.

It also gets people interested in posting (like you said earlier.) on my HP site, I think people make the best posts when they are dedicated to the plot. If forming a group will help you improve your role playing, than it should be allowed. To a minimum of course.

It all depends Harley. It has to have a "point". Neutral people dont need to take a side, by definition.

One thing I didnt like on TWOM was that a LARGE number of members were either OOTP or a follower. There are different degrees.

This question might well be slightly of subject but here goes.

We know Minerva McGonagall is head of Gryffindor but who will be the other house heads since we've got no Profs Slughorn, Sprout or Flitwick around?

I'm assuming they've taken the chance to retire or move onto other things but that leaves gaps in the school chain of command.

James, I believe the reasoning for that was because it was allowed. TWOM should have been looking for peopel that would actually do some things for the order rather than just have the name in their mini profile. In my opinion, The Order of the Phoenix needed someone to moderate what all the members were doing. That person should have removed the group name from them if that specific member was not doing anything for the order's cause.

This went with the loyal followers too. There were also many on that side that just wanted the name for fun. It also frustated me that so many of them also suddendly got the freedom to change their character for this site. I personally did not say anything for the desusion was already made. People need to learn that joining the loyal followers had conciquences. FOr this, I thought it was unwise to allow people's characters to change sides.

Chang, I did not know that those people retired in the book. If this is not so, I believe we should wait a little bit longer until we have found someone that can play that role on our site. Those positions are major, and for this, should be researved for cannon characters.

Uh, I have a suggestion. How about we make the Professors heads. I mean, the Potions master as hoh of Slytherin, Charms Mistress as Ravenclaw, and ect.? Professor rose was a Ravencalw, and Professor Cruz was a Slytherin. I don't think it would be very realistic for a whole new person to come to hogwarts just to be HOH.

I really think (Since we already have a McGonigal) we should keep with the cannon character idea. Yes, those specific teachers have shown to be loyal to the site, but it would be more stroylined if we just stick with the idea.

Anyone who has a detailed history will probably recognise how much I like to stick with the canon... however, non-canon Professors are one of the few things I'm allowing to slip through the cracks, since its very popular and was common practice on the old site. I would prefer people took the canon characters but they dont have to.

Heads of House positions will indeed be handed out soon. I meant to do it last weekend but I didnt get much of a chance to get on.

True. I guess it is for the better to make a fresh clean plate for a fresh new site. For the most of us at least

As we speak, I am hoping in recruiting some to the Death Eater side. It is complicated on finding the right place for the Ministry to not find me along with meeting people without even knowing them, but I am managing. lol.

New Thought: But I do wonder where we can advertise this site now. We do not have a sorce on twom anymore, and I feel that our new members are declining. If you do not mind, I could advertise for you.

Okay I have to jump in here since I am a culprit of the character change (obviously) I know that it's weird and annoying but think about it. My character on the old TWOM had only Gryffindor friend as a Slytherin she wasn't mean or cruel at all and she started changing into this new person shortly after she was getting roleplayed alot. So I remade her profile to match the personality I had been playing her as and it worked out really well. For me it was unavoidable.
