Registration Concern

Staff: Sorry for bringing up so many discussion upon this site. I know you guys are working hard, and I probably seem bothersome to yall. However, something ran into my mind that I hope can be answered.

I was looking into some things and realize that there are no signup sheets for groups, shops, or residences. it was nice to have something like this one twom for it allowed me to bring this specific request up without PMing a staff member.

With the application for groups, it also allowed me to see whom were new to the DE, OOTP etc. It was easier seeing it in one thread rather than (on this iste) search in the members button.

It is just something that ran into my mind that is all. If anyone could answer this for me that would be great.

Actually, I believe there is. You have Aplication forms up on the headboard. One for professor, one for shopkeeper ect. The residence part, you may find here.

This site is new, and I believe that James said to me that the OOPT disbanded after Voldiemort's death. I'm not sure, but I guess it's right. Sure it's not a form, but that's where you register.

Why thank you. I did not see the thread up until you have just showed me.

I was well aware that the OOTP is not running lol. However, the Death eaters are (however planning at the moment, and at the moment, are not known to be planning such things just yet), and I think it would be appropriate to have some kind of thread just to see who is in it. Perhaps a sign up sheet to see if the person is a good enough role player to be in it.

True, very true. But I find the idea just a teeny bit weird, because I'm still getiing used to the idea about DE's but no OOPT's.

The Death Eaters have not been in view at the moment in this rpg world. Since they are not known to be gathering right now, there is no point in bringing them up yet.

In a lot of situations I prefer PMs to threads anyway - threads tend to go unnoticed, PMs are a little easier to keep track of when its only something you get once in awhile and its a relatively simple process (there's not really much back and forth, like with getting a character approved)

Right. I just thought I may ask the public for this specific help seeing how I pm you alot. I thought that I was gettting a little bit annoying.

I believe that this is something unwise to do. I mean, characters should n't be magically accepted to a group that has such strict rules. For this, I believe that this was a big cause in having so many people in a single group of people. If we are going to advoid this from happening, we should roleplay the events along having your approval. [/i]

Yes, this may be so, but it is most logical to do it this way. The Order of the Phoenix coming out of no where after the Death Eaters being in hiding for 8 months would not make much sense. If I see an advantage in attacking a specific area (with enough followers) I may send my group to do it. Note that this is most likely not going to happen very soon.
