History: Danielle was born to her mother, Jacqueline Deleon, in Dijon, France. As a child, she was home schooled, meaning she spent almost every waking moment with her family. It had always been a big deal with her mother and grandmother to keep on the tradition of full blood Veelas coming from the Deleon family. She was taught that the only reason that she should ever interact with men was if she was using her powers.
At age 10, Danielle’s grandmother, Sophia Deleon, died. She had been a major influence on Danielle’s life and it all got worse when her mother came up pregnant again.
Nine months and one marriage later, Nicole was born and the half-blood Veela, Nicole Masters. Her mother insisted that by giving the child the name of the male if was born from would keep the family tradition of pure-bloods in check, though just because in her mind she had changed the name, everyone else still knew the girl as Nicole Deleon.
As if hating even the idea of being half-blood was enough, the wizard Danielle’s mother had married began to treat her like he knew her and taught her how to use a wand. Though she did appreciate the knowledge, she started resenting her mother and Kip even more and at the age 16 left home, looking for something that fit her human hating needs.
