He was born a half-breed. Hated by all. And then he fell in love only to have his happiness snatched away from him as quickly as it had come. The Shikon No Tama was to blame - a stone with strange properties that Kikyo the priestess was guardian over. When she died, the stone was burned with her body, in hopes that it would be gone forever.
But ... a few hundred years later, Kagome, the reincarnatin of Kikyo appears and falls into an enchanted well which transports her to the Sengoku period of Japan. She frees Inuyasha from a tree that Kikyo pinned him to before dying, and suddenly her world is turned upside down. First discovering that the Shikon Jewel was inside her body and then accidentally shattering that same jewel - Kagome, Inuyasha and their friends must find all the shards lest they fall into the wrong hands ... say Naraku's?

It's been 6 months since the events of Advent Children and after having defeated Sephiroth yet again everyone is living happily; Cloud is no longer trying to hide away from his friends, Tifa and the kids couldn't be happier living at 7th Heaven and the others are all off doing their own thing. But ... Something is a miss. Rumours have suddenly started to spread about Sephiroth yet again returning and more powerful than ever. Not only that but a mysterious being has returned to the ruined ShinRa HQ and has started up the experiments ... Making human weapons. What his plan really is, is unknown, but these experiments (both failures and successes) have been roaming the streets causing havok. Now Cloud and his friends must band together for third time in order to put an end to this madness, and gather as much help as they can. Or who knows ... Gaia might actually be destroyed this time around.
