* Date of Birth: March 18th 1979 (age 29)

* Race: Witch

---BACKGROUND---
* Heritage: Pure-blood.
Family: Mother (Kellie) and father (Pat) are both deceased-killed during the first war when Louise was still in Hogwarts (a sixth year). Louise also has two younger brothers, Billy(27) and John(22-deceased at 2) and twin sisters, Aoife and Emma(24). Louise, along with her two brothers were brought up by their Grandmother Lily and their Grandfather Pat (both now deceased from natural causes).
History: Louise was born into a close-knit pureblood family in a small village in the south west of Ireland. Louise’s mother had been a quidditch player but retired when she had Louise. Her father worked as a broom-developer for Nimbus, and made quite a lot of money. Being an old pureblood family they had plenty of money and Louise was never left without anything although she wasn’t spoilt.
Louise had a happy childhood, playing quidditch in their large garden, climbing trees and paddling in the various streams around her house with her many siblings. Both her grandparents lived with the family and they doted on Louise. When Louise was two her brother Billy was born and they instantly became best friends. As they were close in age they did everything together and were rarely separated until Louise went to Hogwarts. Two years later the twins were born and although their was slight jealousy on Louise’s behalf at first she quickly got over that and grew to love her sisters. Finally the baby of the family-John was born. John was a small, sensitive child and Louise quickly became like a second mother to him.
However their family was torn apart when Death Eater’s turned up on their doorstep one evening in mid-January. Both Kellie and Pat were involved in the Order, though they weren't very profilic. However the Death Eater's had a spy who knew of their alligience. They had nothing to gain by killing Louise's parents they posed no immediate threat to Voldemort's reign. However they considered them to be blood traitors and attacked the family mainly for revenge.
Lily and Pat(the grandparents) managed to get all the children but John to safety while Kellie and Pat jr stayed behind to fight the Death Eater’s. John was hit by a curse fired by an unknown Death Eater as Lily carried him to safety. As he was so small he died instantly and there was nothing Lily could do but make sure she got the other children to safety.
Both of Louise’s parents were killed in the attack and the remaining children were left orphaned. Instead their Grandparents did the best they could for the children and made sure they were brought up as honest, kind-hearted children. Although Louise loved her Grandparents she missed her parents dearly and was haunted by nightmares of that terrible night for years after.
However Louise was strong and tried her best not to let her tragedy affect the rest of her lives. She left for Hogwarts, 11 years old, quietly confident and optimistic for the future. There she was sorted into Gryffindor as were all her siblings, as she quickly made firm friends with another girl in her dormitory-Linda. Louise and Linda were rarely separated and did everything together. Throughout Hogwarts and for years afterwards Linda remained Louise’s closest friend, although she had many friends.
Louise made it onto the Gryffindor quidditch in her second year and her popularity status quickly shot up as she helped Gryffindor win not only the quidditch cup but the house trophy too with her amazing performances in the air. Although Louise was very popular she never let it get to her, and she certainly never took anything for granted. She worked hard during her years at Hogwarts-coming in the top few in her year in every exam.
She worked hard at her quidditch and was quickly noticed by various clubs. Although she received many offers in her 7th year for positions on various teams she held out until she was offered a contract with the Kenmare Kestrals. Louise had been a lifelong passionate supporter of her hometown team and it had always been her life’s ambition to play for them.
She had an extremely successful career with the Kestrals-winning many leagues, and went on to captain Ireland. Louise quickly became a household name after legendary performances alongside her two partners-Moran and Mullet in the world cup. Troy continued playing quidditch right up to the war, but Kenmare Kestrals was one of the many teams forced to disband due to dead/missing players during the war. Although she came back to quidditch for a short period Louise was badly injured during a match against Puddlemere United at the start of the season and is unable to play quidditch again professionally.
During the war Louise joined the OotP as a fulltime member and worked tirelessly trying to bring down Voldemort and his followers. However she received a huge blow when it turned out that Linda-her closest friend was a Death Eater. Louise was devastated and for a short time after gave up hope. However with her brother Billy’s help she got over her friends betrayal and once more focused her energy on defeating Voldemort. Louise took part in the Battle of Hogwarts and although she was slightly injured she recovered quickly and is fine now, although the mental scars run deep.
It will be a while before Louise forgets the pain of Linda’s betrayal or indeed the reopened wounds of her brother and parents death caused by the second war. However the future looks brighter with every day, and Louise the eternal optimist is once again looking forward to the future.
Louise worked at Hogwarts until the end of the 2010 school year. Although she loved working at Hogwarts, Louise felt that she was too young to get stuck working at Hogwarts long-term. She loved her job, but she wanted the opportunity to meet more people, rather than always working with the same kids every year. She would, however, love to return to Hogwarts some day.
When she was offered the position at Crennants she took it straight away. She enjoyed working with Tim, and found him to be a good boss and was thrilled when he gave her a 10% share in the business. Louise loves her job and the opportunities it gives her to meet new people.
---GENERAL CHARACTER TRAITS---
* Personality: Louise is a very gentle person and is easy to get along with. However she can be very fiery at times and loves a bit of adventure. She is an optimist and lives life to the full. Her buoyant happiness and infectious laugh make her a great person to be around, and Louise is always up for a bit of fun. She is a very loyal friend and a hard worker, however her most defining trait is her sheer bravery and willingness to do anything-no matter what for her loved ones.
She is a bit of a daredevil and will try anything, especially when it comes to quidditch. Louise’s dogged determination and her courage made her a brilliant quidditch player, and she is widely recognised as one of the best Chaser’s ever.
Although Louise is a fun-loving person she has a serious side to her too. She was orphaned at a young age by Voldemort’s followers and since then has been anti-dark arts. She hates the dark arts and anyone involved in them. Therefore when it came out that one of her closest friends had been a Death Eater Louise was devastated as she naively hadn’t suspected a thing.
Louise is sharp-witted and very observant. She doesn’t miss anything. She is very determined and focused, and she often pushes herself too hard in an effort to be the best. She takes failure very hard, yet she doesn’t boast about winning.
* Likes: Louise loves flying and she loves the sense of freedom that she gets when she’s in the air. Although she has been flying for years the novelty has never worn off and she still loves the feel of the wind in her air when she takes off. She also loves teaching and when she was a student at Hogwarts she often found herself teaching her friends various spells. Since she was a young teenager she has known that when she gives up flying she would want to teach it.
Apart from flying Louise loves life in general. She lives for the present and takes each day as it comes. Louise has never been afraid of a bit of adventure-especially if it contained danger, and was always the first person to try something new or venture into ‘the unknown.’
Louise also loves to read and write, and for a while considered applying to become a sports journalist for the Daily Prophet but decided against it-preferring to teach.
Dislikes: Louise hates not being able to do things and is often too proud to admit that she has failed. She also hates being injured (badly) for it means that she can’t fly, although that hasn’t ever stopped her from being reckless. She doesn’t like people who look down on other people and think that they’re better than them-mainly because it makes her feel inadequate.
Louise is ever the optimist and hates to see people down or upset. She is a fiercely anti-DarkArts and has been so ever since her parents were murdered by followers of Voldemort when she was still a child.
Habits: Louise plays quidditch any moment she gets and lives for the sport. She also bites her nails when she’s nervous.
* Does your character like Quidditch? She loves it! She plays chaser.
---ABILITIES---
* Strengths: Louise is an excellent quidditch player and has been playing since she was five or six years old. However due to an injury she can no longer play competitively. She is a team player and knows how to work with other people to do well. She is also a very good leader and was captain of the Irish Quidditch team, as well as being Chaser.
She is very sporty and athletic. Due to her quidditch years Louise has excellent reflexes and is extremely flexible.
Louise is also a very good teacher and loves to teach other people-especially if she’s teaching them quidditch! She is a people’s person and loves to be around people. Louise is a quietly confident woman who doesn’t boast about her talents.
Louise is very good at Charms and Transfiguration and got an ‘O’ in her Newts in both subjects. Overall she is a very smart witch and an exceptionly hard worker. Although she was training almost every night in an attempt to get signed to a professional team when she left Hogwarts, Louise still managed to get two 0’s and the rest E’s in her Newts. Louise is a very loyal friend, and will always stand up for her friends. No matter what their problem is Louise will always be there for them.
During her school years, Louise’s gentle nature and spirited personality coupled with her success on the quidditch pitch made her one of the most popular and well liked girls at Hogwarts, however she never let this get to her head and remained grounded throughout her years at Hogwarts and later during her professional career.
Louise is very sharp and picks up on things quickly. She is very quick-witted and always has an answer to anything. She was one of the most intelligent girls in her year at Hogwarts, however like everyone else she had her moments. She is very tough and rarely cries and refuses to let anyone get to her.
* Weaknesses: Louise is sometimes too good a friend-she would never let a friend down and refuses to think badly of them. This often leads to her being taken advantage of and exploited. She can be naïve at times in regards to what other people are capable of doesn’t realise that not everyone is as loyal as she is.
Louise is rather slight and injury prone. She was always useless with any type of animal and although she took CoMC for her Owl’s as a challenge she gave it up in her sixth year after failing dismally. She just doesn’t know how to react to animals and more often than not ended up in the hospital wing after a CoMC’s lesson.
Louise is often too severe on herself and sets too high standards for herself. Although she achieves these standards most of the time, she puts too much pressure on herself and gets stressed out. She is her own worst critic. She tries too hard and doesn’t seem to realise that it’s okay to do badly every once in a while. The word ‘fail’ isn’t in her vocabulary.
Louise is very quick to believe other people when they promise they are telling the truth, even though to many others it is clear they are not. She trusts too easily, and forgives easier. This has led to many betrayals over the years and as a result she is quieter and more reserved than she was as a teenager.
Although she is a very talented witch she often doubts herself and has low self esteem. Because of her low self esteem she feels that she cannot perform certain spells and as a result can't. For example Louise can only perform a simple augamenti charm sometimes. Once she tries and fails it stresses her out completely and no matter how hard she tries she just can't do it-though her real problem is a lack of confidence.
Because Louise is so determined and focused she can never understand why other people are not like that too. She simply doesn't understand laziness and often pushes people too hard, simply because she doesn't seem to grasp that they are not capable of pushing themselves the way she pushes herself to do things. As a result she clashes with people-especially colleagues, and appears to be too bossy and stubborn.
