With the end of the second War, the two Worlds are at peace together and at perfect harmony. Until... It is the year of 2008 and a new evil is unfolding...
Hogwarts
After the War, Hogwarts was closed for the year, and opened again the following September. All the teachers retired and new teachers worked there.
Most students repeated the year, while others continued on.
Hogwarts is restored its glory. It's not certain if the position of DADA is still 'cursed'. Some students have chosen to repeat a year of school due to their compromised education with the Carrows as teachers and Snape as Headmaster, especially those who care about Defence Against the Dark Arts and Muggle Studies, the two most corrupted subjects under the Carrows rule.
The Ministry of Magic
After the War, the Ministry was ashamed of its behaviour towards the whole affair.
Harry Potter was made an Auror the same year, but died the following year.
Some other high ranks such as the Department of Magical Law Enforcement are run by Order members. However, there are still supporters of Voldemort within the ministry. It has been made a priority of the Minister to find them all, and most significant members of the Ministry have been interrogated at least once.
Death Eaters
Most Death Eaters were captured after the ending of the War. Most. A large number of Death Eaters are currently rotting in their cells in Azkaban, now guarded solely by wizards. The remaining Death Eaters are currently scattered, living in hiding, and being hunted. They still act out, but their actions are mostly hidden from the public. Many of the Death Eaters dont trust each other, since it is known that some of the more cowardly among them have turned in their former friends in exchange for a reduced sentence.
The Order of the Pheniox
Seeing no danger, the Order disbanded, but some are ready to band together at the whiff of danger.
A New Evil...
Though Voldemort is gone, and the Death Eaters are nearly wiped out, the Wizarding World is not free of Evil. Quite the contrary.
Vampires, Werewolves and other abnormal creatures are banding together to form 'Wizard's Bane'. They have long suffered discremation and are now prepared to fight to rule the World. Some humans have also joined this group, many of the remaining Death Eaters. The Public is unaware of this, but is subject to change.
It might be too late...
