Proboards v4.5 Notice

Proboards is now undergoing their upgrades to version 4.5 of their software. When it comes time for our server to upgrade, it should be fairly seemless, though the forums may go down for a short time.

There may also be some broken codes or inconsistencies. I'm updating codes now to try and make sure the update is smooth, but if you see something that used to work and then it breaks, thats probably why.

Also, for those curious, the new feature list for Proboards v4.5

• New thread sorting options - by subject, thread creator, number of replies, number of views, latest post (default) in ascending or descending order.
  
• New poll system, with lots of new features
  
• Much faster member and post searches
  
• Users online over last 24 hours in Info Center
  
• Add a poll to an existing thread
  
• Request a forgotten password by e-mail address or username (instead of just the latter)
  
• Character limit in posts has been increased from 25,000 to 60,000
  
• Generally faster
  
• Other stuff you guys wont notice

After a whole minute and a half of downtime (nobody's dead?) we've upgraded to v4.5

As you can see the Info Center is screwing up, I'm working on a fix.

If you spot any more bugs let me know here. Enjoy the new features listed above (I personally love the thread sorting and proper searches).

UPDATE: Fixed Info Center. It doesnt look quite as good with the "Users Online Today" part, but we'll stick with it for now.

I also dont mind if you use this thread for discussion of the new features, too, so long as it remains on topic.

I know you would James, and let me just say, I am perfectly aware that you had nothing to do with adapting the site to the new system, and thus you don't deserve any thanks what so ever. Nah, it's all good, the info center, I am sure looks better than it would have without your input, oh and might I say, that I like the ability, however small, to jump to a page, without using that gamin scrolling thing.

Info Center appears to be missing the View Recent Posts link. I'm getting code pimps to do a fix, kay?

In the meantime, there's a View Recent Posts link in the bottom right corner of the top welcome table.
