I'm curious, what other languages do my fellow RPers know/are fluent in?
I was asking, because my char uses Spanish relatively often in his posts, and though I translate for the most part, some sections I don't because the effect is sometimes lost (in my opinion). That being said, I still try to make sure that the sections that I keep in spanish w/o translation are using terms/words that are generally well known, that way even if specifics are lost, the general concept isn't.
I figured that I may as well find out about everyone's language proficiencies, that way not only can I be better about translating (if needed), but perhaps other 'multi'lengual characters can use that to enhance their RP.

I know french, english, italian, bengali (classes) and a little bit of spanish.
I'm pretty fluent at all of it, except for spanish.

I'm fluet in Irish and English..and I'm doing Spanish in school at the mo...I'm not great at it though...I had an awful teacher!

I know English and intermediate Spanish. I also know basic French, Italian, and Latin. I had to take Spanish, but the others were idle curiosity so I'm not all that fluent.

I'm bilingual (English - Spanish)
Though my spanish may be a little rough, since I'm not as strong with 'written' Spanish as I am with 'spoken' Spanish.

I just speak English, though I know a little German and Italian.
I USED to know a bit of Japanese, but not using any in 3 years has left me dry.

lol. I would not really be able to help you out in rp. My character, in the greatest of my knowledge, would not haev interest in meeting you. ALso, my charcter does not speak any other languages besides Spanish. However, if you want to have an OOC in spanish, please feel free to start a new thread.
