House Points vs. ShoutBox!

Sorry for the low quality images... for some stupid reason I decided to save them as jpegs...

The layout preferred by the majority will be what we will go with, starting September 1 when Hogwarts reopens. Layout 2 will also have Prefects and Professors be clickable links to their house point tally threads, so they will be that blue link colour.

These screenshots were taken with Firefox, which has some different spacing than Internet Explorer.

And before you ask why a "Not sure" option isn't available... if you aren't sure then why are you voting? Notice that if you change your mind you can also retract your vote. Only vote once per member, not once per character (We will be watching votes).

I think that shoutbox should stay for various reasons and that the first layout is a fine way of adding the houspoints chart. However, this is just a girl with a fast computer. *Shrugs*

I'd say layout one and its a neat way of doing it.

Not too much of a fan of the shout box, it doesn't serve much purpose for me and isn't used much. But I like the way #1 looks so its w/e

I agree with Jaden, The shout Box is not really that important for me but I love the house point layout of Option 1.

As Jaden and Lizzie have said, I like the way option one looks, although I hardly ever use the shoutbox.

There is a possibility for something else to be put there instead. If anything it would most likely be important links, something similar to what we had on the old site. But, I'm putting some time into other methods of making things easier for new members to navigate, instead.

Of course, that cell which current supports the shoutbox could be removed, and the center cell widened to fit the rest of the space.

Unless there is a significant turnaround I think we will stick with layout one as it is in that screenshot, though. Is anybody here on dialup? Does the shoutbox have a significant impact on your connection?
