As you've probably noticed by now, we just added a new code to WR which is designed to help out members who have multiple characters (the vast majority, it seems). Since we require people use a different account for each character, in the past this has required people to continually log in and out to switch characters, or use multiple browsers, or some other bypass which can often be inconvenient.
Now, with the Alias code, all you have to do is select which account you're going to post as from the posting page or quick reply.
Login on one account you want available, then logoff and login on another you would like to also use. Do this as many times for as many accounts as you wish to have available then when you are ready to make a post simply select the account you would like to use for that post all from whichever account you're currently logged in on.
You must select which account you want to use before typing anything since the dropdown disables itself once typing starts in order to avoid losing what was typed.
You can set the expiration time for the logins to "forever" to always have those accounts available and never have to login on those accounts again. However if forever is not chosen and an account expires then the code will notify you which account(s) are no longer valid.
I encourage everybody to make a few posts and such so as to familiarize themselves with Alias. If anybody has any problems getting the code to work, just post here for help and we'll do the best we can. Please be aware that if you are on a slow connection that the code may take a little while to appear on the login/post boxes.
