He had done it. Edward had bitten Bella. He hated himself for it, too.
As Edward saw it, he had completely destroyed her chances for happiness, not understanding that he was her happiness. He had locked himself in his room, and didn't plan on coming out anytime soon. All he wanted to do was sit and hate himself for the rest of his life. But no one, of course, would let him.
The people of Forks grew suspicious. How had Bella changed so much in one summer? Why did she seem so different? And where was Edward Cullen, who seemed to have dropped off the face of the planet?
Bella, on the other hand, was elated. After the pain subsided, of course. She had finally gotten her heart's desire, and now she was a vampire. There were only a few small... flaws in the picture.
One, Edward was ready to hate himself for eternity, and Bella couldn't have that.
Two, Bella had no idea how to tell Charlie and Renee what she was now.
Three, Jacob was furious. And a furious wolf is never a good thing.
AND Four, The Volturi discovered that Bella was changed, and now they want her to come and join them.
So, the world is in turmoil. At least, it is for the supernatural in the world... Come and join in the fun.
