Hey people. I realize I haven’t been quite the rper I used to be over the past few months, between long absences and many poor quality posts and/or plots surrounding my characters have made me seem lacking amongst the wonderful rpers that roam this site.
If you recall a few months ago when I first started to fall behind on my posts, I was in and out of the hospital for chest pains. About a month later I was sent into the hospital with an almost debilitating pain and stayed for several weeks for tests and monitoring. When I was released I tried to return to this site yet again, but exams pushed me to have little to no time. Shortly after school was released for winter break, I was given the final diagnosis for my pain. It’s a form of heart disease that is suffered by many people, but I am one of the few cases that they call “unstable”. That simply means for me that the pain can strike at anytime with no warning or reason.
By the time January rolled around I had again slipped from my responsibilities as a role-player and could not pick it due to a short trip I took to Washington D.C. to watch the inauguration of Barrack Obama as the US president. I had limited access to computers during this trip and again had to struggle with making up schoolwork on my return.
Near the end of February my family suffered a huge loss. My younger brother was hit by a drunk driver while he was walking from a restaurant to a movie theater across the street. At first the diagnosis was good, we believed he’d have to be in a wheelchair, but he’d survive. Over the next few days his condition deteriorated and he passed away in March. Between the depression I felt and the stress that my parents began to feel, my heart condition worsened and I was again sent to the hospital and stayed for nearly two weeks until they deemed it safe for me to leave.
I’ve continued to struggle between health issues and issues at home, but I hope with this new plot being installed to make a full comeback on WR. Again, I am sorry for any inconvenience my long absence has caused. I’ve truly missed this site and I hope for your acceptance and continued patience.
