Post is Inspired by this Song It was night time. The sky was dark and the owl chirped within the trees. They cluttered themselves in the little wholes in the oak tree to watch for any predators lurking by. Slowly, they looked to the left, then to the right. All was still and quite. Nothing could be seen nor found. One owl found it safe enough to even fly from one tree to another to see another owl looking around. Funny how this very night, humans were going to do the same thing. Arabella was expected to fly over from her mysterious area of living to where Adrian was staring right now in the witch's hat's window. Adrian looked at the time, and then back at the fireplace where a small fire was burning. A black leather chair faced away from the door and away from Adrian. It was clean, smooth, and made from the finest materials around. And whom was sitting on it was someone much more finer than the leather itself. Even though Adrian was blinded by who this woman was, he positive of the witch's identity. She must have gotten his letter. She must have personally... desperetly.. wanted to see her long term friend, Arabella... Adrian looked back at the window and waited. What did he do? Why did he lead Arabella to this trap? A taste of regret, for the first time, flooded his mouth like blood of a murdered victim. What Arabella might be getting was what he was too afraid of receive from his failure of turning Arabella toward Juliet's cause.

Arabella knew the risk as this dark green cloaked and short sleeved long dark green dress wearing witch appeared. She'd apparated in given it was too far to fly from Ballycastle but had her wand handy.
So she walked up to the door and did what you usually did. Knocked on it as she wrapped herself up in the cloak. The night was getting colder and she had set her affairs in order before she made this trip. If she died tonight this fiery dragon would leave a secure future for her children. They wouldn't have the taint of a mother like her while they grew up.
Still her parents had advised her to join up again. Hadn't this cost them enough but Arabella had few options. No chance of a career or custody of her children and she'd be ending her days living in a gutter in Knockturn Alley. So there was no choice. She'd rather go out fighting one way or another.

From her distal phalanx to her thumb, Juliet tapped her fingers on the black leather chair. Patiently, she waited for the witch to come. Arabella seemed late for the first, to what Juliet could tell, and was deeply hurt by it. What did she do to deserve this? It was something that Juliet should not be hurt over, but other emotions due to recent events has only made her turn her frustration toward Arabella. Inside, she began to slowly get angry, as her patience began to quickly fade away like the sand in an hour glass.
Just before she was about to speak up, Arabella knocked at the door . Right on time too, for Juliet was thinking of punishing Adrian for waisting her time.
However, she was still angry. "Get the door." she said still keeping her position at the fireplace.

"Yes, Madamemoiselle." he said as he went for the door.
Adrian paced himself down the stairs, watching for certain steps that his family before him purposely jinxed in case of intruders. Step number 27 made you fell through the floor and into a caged celler. Step number 12 made the stairs turn into a ramp to purposely make you slip.
You think those steps would get very annoying, however, Adrian was so use to skipping them, that he sometimes almost forgot to tell others he was there. Remembering the event when his grant Aunt Maryland came over and almost broke her foot came into mind, Adrian note to himself to tell Arabella about the steps.
He opened the door only to find Arabella standing there. "Ah, Ms. Burke, please come in." he said. "But do be quite. My sister is sleeping upstairs, and I wish not to wake her up." He said referring to Dominique.

Arabella just nodded, her flowing red hair moving and giving nothing away. Her mind was made up having had nearly two days to ponder her future or rather lack of it. Nobody but her parents (and perhaps Lizzie Porter) even cared if she lived or died.
"Then lets talk" she said sounding determined and fiery. Just like she had been which might show they way she was going to declare herself. Then she stepped into the porch.

When the both of them stepped inside, Adrian looked up at the stairs, and then back at Arabella. Right there, she seemed so beautiful to him. Such a creature that has been in such a terrible life. He felt bad for her, for the first time after The Battle of Hogwarts.
Guilt started to bubble up inside him like a cauldron in the dungeons of Hogwarts. Never the less, Adrian needed this to be done. His stomach wasn't the only thing that was stirring. Juliette was waiting upstairs to meet her dear and long lost friend.
"Quietly, we go upstairs. On the second floor, I have magical sound proof walls." he said. "For you know.. business between the other followers." Aidan took his first step. Right before he was going to take another, the wizard was reminded of the traps. "Oh, and be careful with step 12 and 27. They are not to be weighted on." he said.

Arabella was tempted to change into her owl form and just fly over the trapped steps. Since she was Adrian's guest and she had no idea of what traps he had set as part of his security she nodded and followed him. Naturally she was careful as she counted the steps to step over step 12 and 27.
The linen dress moved under the cloak. The length was necessary since her body had yet to fully recover although she'd done as much as she could to be like a woman again. There was plenty of ladylike things she hadn't been able to do in Azkaban and only now could she catch up on them. Smooth half bare arms poked out from under the heavy cloak and they looked thinner than they had done before she'd entered that cursed place. She'd either look good for this meeting with Adrian or end up being a good looking corpse.

It was only a matter of moment when Adrian finally found the last step to the second floor. Shivers began to slowly run up Adrian's spine as if a snake was silently creeping its way for the kill.
Why? Because the door they were in front of now was no other room but Juliet's. In there lied death. A death like no other that Adrian ever heard of. The woman was a tyrant indeed, and from what he heard, this serpent was about to release her fury.
Adrian took a deep breathe before entering the room. What they were about to see, do, would be something the both of them would never forget.

Arabella's wand wasn't yet drawn from its holster on her waist. She'd climbed the steps carefully but wasn't fully fit yet. She couldn't be considering her long stay in that cursed place and her health suffering so much had led to general weakness in her body. Quite a change from the person Juliet would have known while they were both free witches and working in Hogwarts.
She entered the room not having spotted Juliet yet. Unaware she was most likely walking to her death but the witch had a fury of her own. You didn't mess with a fiery dragon and it might turn into a very eventful reunion given how the two of them felt.

When both Arabella and Adrian were in the room, the wizard shut the door coldly behind him. Making a bold noise, the door magically locked itself to keep the guests in the room. Adrian, being the clever wizard he was, charmed this door especially for unwanted guests.
However, don't expects Adrian to feel clever or joyful inside. This victim was not someone he wanted dead. Over the pass month, the wizard started to grow fond of Arabella, and one day, he hoped that maybe they both could have a cup of tea together and enjoy the summer breeze.
But this was not going to happen. Not after what Arabella has done. As Juliet has always said, revenge is a cup best served cold. The event that was going to happen this month was going to prove that very theory.
Adrian stood in front of the door. Waiting for Juliet to speak up, the wizard drew his wand slowly in case it was needed.

The door closed and presumeably locked. Arabella had no way out unless she blasted her way through the door or a wall. Now she was face to face with her friend Juliet. Now things had changed as she looked at the face of person she'd sacrified her freedom for so she could escape. She had been groomed to serve Voldemort even before her appointment as a professor but as a spy; not a Death Eater or a fighter. Yet that was what she ended up doing in the battle of Hogwarts when she should have died.
That was when she believed in the cause with a zealots fire burning in her soul. Now she couldn't kill anymore and she had lost everything that was precious to her. Death was her only companion now and it would come sooner or later. By the hand of an old colleague or by a vengence seeker. Courage burned in her soul as she faced her destiny but she couldn't help but feel and show concern given how pale Juliet looked.
"So Juliet, how have you been since the breakout?" she softly asked not drawing her wand. Her life lay in the palm of Juliet's hand and she knew it. Either she would die here or be let go to try and rebuild a life. The rebuilding was a long shot given what she had done but what she was doing right now was for her children.

she gave what little strength she had to help out Arabella while she was in Azkaban. Countless of night, Juliet thought of ways of how to get a man into Azkaban to help the witch. Countless of mornings, she would wake up early to wait for the owl from Adrian to come in saying how Arabella was doing. There was no greater betrayal than what Arabella has done. To through her loyalties in the ground as if it was nothing was something Juliet could not tolerate. She spoke up in reguards to her feelings. "If you expect me to say swell, you are sorely mistaken." she said coldly. Than she continued. "And if you expect to walk away from me tonight, you are sorely forgetting how skilled I was as a duelist..."[/ul]

Arabella knew for sure her children would be orphans tonight when she heard that and seen Juliet's face. This was something she was very prepared for so she spoke again.
"I guess Adrian's told you what I told him. I can't kill anymore and remembering what I did.. causes me pain. Even thinking about something evil does that. I guess it was part of the therapy but if you think you must kill me then do it. Right now I've nothing left to live for" she said still not going for her wand. One she'd never use again.
She hadn't discarded her loyalties. She'd changed so much she couldn't return to that old life even if she wanted to. She'd given two children to this world, married, loved and nearly went insane in prison. So death was the next big adventure for her and she didn't look afraid.
