Full Name: Levi Wyscowski
Date of Birth: Age: 50 ::: January 24
Place of Birth:London, England. His parents were from Rwanda.
Gender: Male Wizard
Race: Wizard
Appearance: Levi stands 6'1. He has short black hair and a strong muscular body type, showing that once long ago had more to life than just spells (explained as you are reading)...
Occupation:Ex-Journalist in Rwanda; He was taken out of The Ministry of Magic (Rwanda's Government) during The Genocide and into Azkaban due to his loyalties toward good people. After this, he never went back to Journalism, and instead, he devoted himself to teaching at Hogwarts (moving there is explained later).
What teaching area? Well, Defense Against the Dark Arts Professor. A few months later, after getting out of Azkaban, Levi wondered what he was going to do in his life. Sure, he could be a journalist with his talents as writing, but Levi was hurt greatly during the Genoside era. He lost his pinky and middle finger with dark magic (right hand), and also lost his whole left hand after it being cut off while traveling in muggle lands. Lucky for him, Witch Doctors in Rwanda were able to magically put a metallic hand (much like wormtail's) to replace the one he lost. As you can see, after suffering from the Genocide of his government around the 1990's, writing just wasn't the same for him.
This lead Levi wanting to teach others how to properly defend themselves from Dark Magic. The wizard did not want others to have the same fate as he did, and after thinking about it day and night, he finally signed up as being a Defense Against the Dark Arts Professor At Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Leaving Rwanda for good in late 2009 (after Voldemort died), Levi moved to England so he may try out for the position.
However, that is not the only thing in mind for him. Working in Rwanda has also made him quite the plant expert. Rwanda is a tough place, and if you do not know what plants are good for you and what plants aren't, you are in real trouble! For month, Levi has studied nature in Rwanda and has made remarkable studies. He has even helped find a plant called Riduki which can help a person cure him or herself while traveling. Pretty cool huh?
So if Levi some how didn't get the job as a Defense Against the Dark Arts Professor, he would be more than glad as to open himself up as a Herbology Teacher.
Heritage: Pure-Blood
Family: Fiona and Daniel Wyscowski (Parents) Mikalayla (Wife)
Him and his wife:
He and his wife met in Rwanda together as both being Journalists. Levi was a journalist for the English while Mikalayla was for Rwanda itself. Both very different in many ways, they first started out disliking each other. However, we all know that opposites do attract, and a year later, they commited themselves to go out.
From there, they have found love at first site. Levi was as smart and funny as Mikalayla, and as loving too. Eventially, they got married and had two kids. Michael and La'Toya (no just kidding, Marissa. La'Toya is a ghetto name haha. ;D).
History:
Levi Wyskowski was born on January 24, 1949 in London England. Coming from Parents from Rwanda, Levi was constantly told about the lands and all its beauty it possessed.
These talks, stories, has lead him to want to one day go out and explore the world. However, not until he graduated form Hogwarts. Getting the letter at 11 years old, he went to go out and see the magical castle.
Personality: Levi is generally light hearted. He is kind to those who are kind, and mean to those who are mean. If you never have met him before, he will probably start out as friendly in hopes to make a new friend.
However, his blindness toward the hate of creatures has lead him to become very.. hard to like. You can not see this in the light of day, but if you start to get to know him well, you will see that he is very much like a present day pure blood.
His hatred toward creatures has probably came through family beliefs. Long ago, his grandfather was killed by a vampire while getting home from France (Business stuff, you know?). The day that his father found out about the terrible news, anger released from his veins. He could no longer stand the fact that these... beats... were allowed out of their cages.
Likes: One of his favorite things to do is read novels about 'Auror Action' (meaning, books about cases on Aurors.) Day and night while in Hogwarts, he would read books by countless of writers about their days being an Auror. Most people would have thought that he was going into the Ministry of Magic as a Dark Wizard Catcher.
They would have been right, if Levi has the ambition to going to that field. Three years in Grogan's Stump Auror Institute seemed a long time. Almost too long. Levi had enough with schooling, and for that, Levi didn't want to be an Auror.
Instead, he went to his second favorite thing. Writing. Countless of times, Levi would write for the Hogwart's Prophet (a little club that Levi started in his fifth year. This club would write about the daily dramas that were happening in the school. They would also give their opinions about Quidditch Games). He continued that until his last year at Hogwarts
Dislikes: Strongly dislikes Dark Wizards. During the Genocide, there were many wizards that devoted themselves to the dark arts in exchange for power and control of the territory. Levi has been hurt by Dark Magic too (described earlier), which has also contributed to the dislike.
As mentioned before, he also does not like creatures or half breeds, due to him being manipulated into those beliefs. Some other things he does not like are Death Eaters, Racists (obviously), White chocolate (he thinks it taste weird.) and tight paints (thinks it looks weird). However, those are all just random things
Habits:He tends to scratch the back of his head when he has to think things through. You can see this when he talks about politics.
Does your character like Quidditch? Yes
Strengths: Very strong dark wizard fighter. While in Rwanda, he had to learn the ways of battle. Constantly, he was up against war around the area. Being there all of those years has actually made him quite the Dark Wizard Catcher. So in a way, you could say he is as strong as an Auror itself.
Weaknesses: Although he may be very strong in fighting, he is no hero. When up against more than two wizards, he can be easily knocked down from battle. Levi is used to battles one on one or two on one, but nothing more. There were always others there for him when he needed to fight (Guards, since he was a writer in Rwanda).
Powers: Before his trip to Rwanda, he wanted to learn Legilimency. Levi thought it was best to be able to learn this to catch people's thoughts and visions about their past. To know everything about a victim is a must for the writing world. It made the story strong. He learned this ability in Hogwarts by a professor named Jason McCormick, whom too loved writing and understood what he was trying to do.
But that is not all he learned. In Rwanda, he was taught by the officers Occulemency. There were loads of Enemies that knew Legilimency for torture purposes. They were afraid that if Levi didn't learn this ability, the torturers might get to information in his head easily. Information like what the insides of the Government building looked like and stuff like that. Therefore, he spent a month or two learning Occulemency before going out into the public eye.
Pets: Black Lab named Rylie. He is cute, friendly, and his wuvy duvy. Mainly there when the kids were alive, Rylie was a great friend and protector.
Wand: His wand is made of a rare tree. What is it made up? Well, it is a tree called the Acacia Tree.
The Acacia tree is one of the oldest trees around in the world. Grown in Egypt, it has many purposes and abilities that no tree has ever had. In Egypt long ago, there was an Acacia Tree known to be called as the Tree of Life. The Egpytians referred to it as the "tree in which life and death are enclosed".
Rumor says that deep in Egypt, a wand was made from this very tree. An ancient wizard known as Hicomira. Hicomira, after a long walk into the desert because of being banned from Egypt, was left with no more food and no water to begin with. For days, he traveled along the driest and more deadly parts of Egypt.
After traveling for days and days, he ran into an Oasis. Desperate for water, this the man ran as fast as he could itno the big Oasis in search of something to drink.
He ran into a tree. The largest tree he has ever seen. Rumor says that the desperate man found the Acacia. Rumor says that after his wand was broken from a battle of the lions, Hicomira made his next wand from this very tree. The Tree of Life.
Rumor says that Hicomira only lived through the dessert to get to Africa with the Acacia wand. This wand, coming from the tree of life, produced it's own water and food for Hicomira's pleasures. It would slowly come out from the tip of the wand right there in front of him. It was like magic no one, not even wizards, have ever seen before.
Now that you have heard the legend, you can now figure out how he got his wand. Generatino after generation, this wand has been handed down from Hicomira's family. However, it was about 20 generations ago when this wand was sadly taken away from the family. Jerimiah, Hecomira's great grandson, was a slave owner of Levi great great (etc.) grandfather. After owrking long and hard for the man, all he got was either a beating or a cup of water and bread. He was tired or it!
He murdered Jerimiah once day and took his wand. Ever since then, it has been passed down from generation to generation until it became Levi's......
Now his great great great )whatever_ Grandfather, Ludius was aslave to the Hicomira family (It is unknown
Now that the wand is in Levi's hands, he has taken drastic measures in making sure that this wand would not be ever taken away from him or any of his family members. However, it wasn't until after his hand was chopped that Levi made his final protective ware for his wand.
He used Dragon blood, and not just any dragon blood. From an unknown source, he got a special dragon blood that could melt even the toughest of metals around (iron, etc.) He thought of this.
He looked at his hand.
He looked at his wand.
He looked at the blood.
His Hand again, his wand, and the blood again.
The situation was only jut too perfect. If he could find someway to have dragon's blood coated on his wand without destroying it, no one could tough his wand. It would belong to him and him alone.
Levi thought long and hard for months and months to figure out how he could do this. After reading dozens of books about Dragon Blood, he came across with this:
"In the Slavic myth, the Earth refuses it as it is so vile that Mother Earth wishes not to have it within her womb, and it remains above ground for all eternity."
That was the reason why Dragon's blood was always found above ground! Dragon blood did not soak in on mother nature.
He did his research, and after a couple of weeks, he decided to test his experiment. He covered his wand up with a condense sand in a cement like form. Dipping the wand into dragon's blood, he tested his brilliance.
AND IT WORKED! Who would have known? His wand was completely unharmed from the dragon's blood and is today still used for the better of mankind.
Ability: This wand, being made from teh Tree of Life, can produced food and water (which is unheard of).
