(( Just so you know, this is out of complete boredom. I KNOW I own both of these characters xD ))

Jared was sitting tall and straight in an armchair in his tiny living room. He glanced at the grimy window wishing he'd had time to clean it up before her arrival. It was still a few minutes before she was due to arrive and he was worried because she had just discovered that her mother had family. She had really JUST discovered that the guy she'd gone through Auror training with and the one she dueled had been her cousin the whole time and that he knew and didn't say anything.

He wondered if she was angry or upset at him and worried that she wouldn't show up at all. He started picking at a loose thread on the armchair has was hovering over and only stopped when there was a light knock on his front door.

Jaden had been standing outside Jared's door for a long time now. She was pacing back and forth as quietly as she could manage trying to decide if this was a good idea. It didn't make much sense to her having believe that her mother's family was all dead only to find someone she'd befriended at Auror Training was her cousin. She felt obligated to visit him when she found out even though she was still flustered and confused.

Finally she mustered the courage to tap on the door and almost immediately felt the heaviness in her stomach double in weight. She felt like this was somehow going to be one of the most awkward things she's ever done. She took in a deep breathe and waited patiently at the door, not being the type to pull an unplanned ding-dong ditch.

Jared sucked in a deep breathe before pulling door door open with a very forced calm expression on his face. He motioned for her to enter with a attempt at a charming smile and pointed at the only chair in the room, where he had just been sitting, for her to get comfortable, "Hungry?" He asked politely, really just because he had to not because he wanted to. He didn't have any food anyway.

He let out a heavy sigh before seating himself down on the coffee table across from the chair she occupied. Jared shrugged his shoulders after a long moment of awkward silence and asked in a completely genuine tone, "So, how have you been?"
