Didn't Horrible History used to be a TV show as well? I remember watching that as a kid.

I just read this book (which I found out today is going to be a trilogy) called "The Death List" by Paul Johnston. It's really gory and has a surprising ending (at leas a part's a surprise)
I really liked it, it was one of my first Crime novels, I've only read an Agatha Christie and a Mary Higgins Clark one. I usually read Fantasy novels.
Do you know any good crime novels that I could read?

I am currently reading Peter Pan by J. M. Barrie. It's a wonderful little book. And very unlike the Disney version - those darn cartoons! I suggest everyone read it and get to know the real story. As for a crime book, I suggest The Pale Blue Eye by Louis Bayard. A murder at West Point draws the attention of an old retired constable and he uses the assistance of Mr. Edgar Allen Poe to discover who the culprit is.

I love J. M. Barrie's original Peter Pan! Haven't read it for ages, though - I really should. Now... where on those numerous bookshelves could it be...?
If you like crime/mystery books, but also like historical fiction, I'd suggest Lindsey Davis' Falco series, which are a series of really good mystery novels set in ancient Rome, during Vespasian's rule. They're very amusingly written, and the historical research is pretty accurate. The first one in the series is 'The Silver Pigs', if anyone's interested.

Hopefully getting the tales of Beedle the Bard tonight. Assuming my local Waterstones has it although Amazon has.
I went of the 'Negima' series for a bit but I'm back on it again. Curently reading volume three.

The last book I read was Tales of Beedle the Bard. Gosh, if only I had half her inspiration and imagine! It felt so good to be able to add another book to my HP collection. I thought I'd never be able to do that again<333

^^ That. Mother is trying to get me to read Tuesdays with Morrie, so I guess I'm going to do that (or at least try it and tell her why I don't like it).

Ah, James, my read that! I've wanted to read it, but somehow I forgot about it. I love Mitch Albom, though! I've read The Five People You Meet in Heaven, and it was superb. I recommend that book if you enjoy Tuesdays With Morrie. And if you don't find Mitch to your liking, well, then I'll be sad. Richard Paul Evans is a good writer. He's the one that wrote The Christmas Box. But my favourite one of his novels is by far Timepiece. I used to read that over and over again.

I just read Tales of Beedle the Bard, and it was so cool! I plan to read it to my children in... a lot of years LOL! But seriously I'm going to use it as a bedtime story if I ever have kids!

Huh. Fancy the chances of that. ^_^"
I'm reading Eldest by Christopher Paolini
...You know what the funny thing is about him? He's extremly dense, I hear, but totally descriptive. I wonder how he would describe a certain event... *chuckles madly*

I've managed more of 'Negima' though. I'm onto volume five of it.

I have to read Brisingr, but I have to buy it first, I think I'll get it for Christmas! Hopefully...if they remember that I asked for that specific book... yeaaaah.
He is really descriptive, and it's kind of annoying, especially when he starts describing what kind of tree the took a twig out of or something like that. It's like "IT'S A TREEE!!" LOL! A certain event...That would make the book much more interesting. ^.^

I know, like that is so annoying. I'd like to see his rendition of Galbatorix's triumph. It's like the good guys always win! And the certain event would be Arya's marriage to Vanir. I wonder what Eragon would say to that.... (BTW: If Vanir dies or something, I'm not at that part yet, so yeah.)
