Appearance: Eyes: Such a deep, midnight blue that they almost seem black, Jared's eyes are dark adding a sense of mystery to his twisted past Hair: His hair hangs to his eye brows and is rarely any longer. He sometimes cuts it extremely short depending on his mood Complexion: His face is generally very clear and bright but his dark eyes make him seem very rude and straightforward...which he is Height: Jared stand at a very tall 6'5" Dressing Style: Jared dresses more like a teenagr and with his gangly stature, he can pull it off.

History: Born in small town Oklahoma, Jared grew up a spoiled brat. He was an only child born into the Krahl family, a prestigious and very traditional Pure-blooded wizarding family. They base all of there their major decisions on the 'tradition of the family'. For instance, a running tradition for 13 generations is home-schooling. A child of the Krahl clan must not attend any wizarding school at all. They also begin teaching the children magic at their first encounter.
The Krahl family is also all about breeding. If they see a good match, a pair that will make a powerful wizard, they take it as long as it stay with in the pure-blood requirement. The breeding for Jared was outstanding. His father was the oldest of his three siblings and already made good money as an Auror of the American Ministry for Magic. His parents were both blessed with the power of Defensive Precognition and were 'placed' together so that it was almost certain that the trait would be passed down, it was. Now Zachariah, having a very strong Defensive Precognition, had an Arranged marriage with Lacy Aerins, a very skilled telepthic pure-blood. Both the Krahls and the Aerins hoped that a child bred from the pair would have both powers.
Jared was born as the much anticipated first child of the couple. He was watched carefully by servants for any sign of his power. They would carefully time opening doors on him or dropping trays just above his head as commanded by his parents. This was to test his defensive precognition abilities as that was the only way to test out either of his skills. As they tested out his skills, they wondered if he dodged using this skill or if he simply had good reflexes. When asked he would simply shrug, not understanding much of what they tried to explain. When he was five, his father became annoyed at his 'slow progress' with the discovery of his powers and decided he'd test it himself. This was decided as he starred at a block full of sharp knives in the manor kitchen.
Shortly after that was decided, he took Jared fishing. It was a rare thing that Jared go to do anything with his father so he was very excited for the event. His father was going to teach him how to butcher a fish right there on the boat! It was a slow morning, no one catching much any anything. Jared began snoozing in his seat, slumped against the cushioned part of the speed boat chair. He was having a strange dream that was not much different from the current situation. He was sitting in the boat fishing with his father, it was slow and tearfully boring. It was suddenly interrupted by the scream of his mother calling them in for lunch but before she could get the words out Jared was crying out in pain as the butchering knife was jammed into his shoulder.
Jared shook awake, standing up quickly out of fright just in time for his father's knife of wedge into the cushion sending its foamy innards flying everywhere. 'What were you thinking?!' His mind urged him to shout at his father. His father smirked and replied, "Nothing really." It was then that both powers were confirmed.
Soon after, when Jared just turned seven and started showing signs of magic ability other than his powers, his parents began teaching him magic. At first, it seemed like way too much to take in at one time but he soon got accustomed to the never ending lessons. It went on like that, his parents not only training his magical ability but also his powers. They'd have days where he was not allowed to speak at all, only send his messages and other days when he was being trained in the Dark Arts, that he would have to use his Defensive Precognition or get seriously injured otherwise. This pattern went on for years until his powers were no big deal and he was smarter than most when it came to magical ability in any field. His parents called this rigorous training 'Extended Study'. It was a course that started. generally, at age 7 or at first sign of magic and ended at age 19 or 20, depending on the age you began.
Jared spent very little time outside of his estate and in the process knew no body but immediate family and one of his aunts who took pity on him and visited every now and then. He knew that Aunt Jazminn had a daughter but he had never personally met her or seen a picture even. Aunt Jazminn always strayed away from stories about her daughter too. Once Jared finished his Extended Study, he moved out as most Krahl's do when study is complete, and found his way to Great Britain where he found out about Voldemort. He found Voldemort's ideas and tactics intriguing but never really acted on them during the actually reign. He was, of course, biding his time to a point where he could be less conspicuous. All throughout Auror training he pretended to be against it, his acting as perfect as usual. He is now an Auror who just got news of Gordon's case with Juliet Lee and is making a plan to meet with her.

Personality: Jared is dark and mysterious. He has good sense and is very clever. His usual personality is very laid back and he comes off as a smart ass. He never got out much as a child and was always pampered so now that he doesn't get everything he wants to finds it strange, foreign, and frustrating. He's learned to deal with that though, as he had always been warned to do. He tries to take everything as an experience you can learn from and in most cases the more dramatic side of things suits him better.
