[Do you speak French in real life, Juliet? It's spelled Mademoiselle. 'Madame' is used to refer to either a married woman (the English equivalent to 'Mrs') or a woman in a position of authority (such as yourself). Brigitte should not be referred to as Madame, though. Sorry, I'm just kind of a Grammar Nazi. Lol.]" Il gaspille notre temps!" Brigitte argued with Madame Lee, remembering that she too, was French. Her voice, when she spoke in her native tongue, was much more fluid and throaty than when she spoke English; it had a darker, sultrier quality to it that rarely failed to give members of the opposite sex goosebumps. " Pourquoi nous apportent ici si tout ce qu'il veut faire est la conversation du Seigneur Noir?" Then, seeing the look on Madame Lee's face, Brigitte fell silent. After all, it wasn't really her place to complain. " Je m'excuse," she said sulkily before casting her eyes back to Dale expectantly. "He is wasting our time." "Why bring us here simply to chat about the Dark Lord?" "I apologize."

(OOC: It is kept as Madame for Juliet because Madamemoiselle is too long for a username (and I do not know the proper punctuation for madamemoiselle. With your second question, French is not my first language, but I do have three years of it at school (spanish is my first language, which is why my writing is not as good as it should be, lol). And last but not least, sorry for the misspelling of madamemoiselle.)

"Are you done?"
Dale shot Bridgette a dirty look. He had asked Juliet. All of the Death Eaters seemed oddly apprehensive, as if mentioning the fact that Voldemort was indeed mortal was treason. Dale scoffed at the thought - it was intriguing the way that it was now the Death Eaters who dare not speak his name, rather than the wizards whom Voldemort persecuted.
"I don't want relics. I have no desire for treasure." He turned back to Juliet. "Tomorrow afternoon I'm going to kill. At the castle. Just me. I just wanted to know if any of you had a problem with that, and if you wanted it to be a Death Eater affair." Dale was referring to branding the scene with the Dark Mark. He kind of liked the idea - the last time the Mark had been cast over the castle was when Dumbledore died.

Brigitte returned Dale's dirty look with one of her own, her lip curling upwards in a sneer. At his next words however, the scowl left her face and was replaced with a look of belligerent surprise. "You 'ave been planning this on your own?" she asked in disbelief, once again forgetting her place. "'Ow do you plan to break into ze castle by yourself? Surely you are going to need assistance, no?"

Dale's brow furrowed at the question. That wouldn't be the first question I'd ask...
"No, I'm going by myself. Hogwarts knows what tomorrow is, too." Dale reminded her. "The castle will be nearly empty for the memorial service. Getting in isn't a problem. Getting out will be slightly harder, but don't worry about me will you?" The corner of his lips curved as Dale brushed gently past Brigitte to be closer to the fireplace.

It still seemed suspicious to Brigitte. Granted, she didn't know Dale well, but she was sure that he wasn't stupid enough to attempt to break into and out of Hogwarts without some sort of escape plan. He didn't seem like the kind of fellow who would leave things like that up to chance. Or at least...Brigitte knew that she wouldn't.
She didn't like it - not one bit of it. She especially didn't like the fact that he'd kept this so close to his chest without sharing his plans with the others. As Dale brushed past her to get close to the fire, she wrapped her arms around herself and stared at him with undisguised dislike. What was he playing at, anyway? Surely he had selfish motives here...had he just wanted to remind the wizarding world that the Death Eaters were once again at large, he'd have shared his plans with the rest of the group ages ago, wouldn't he? And who exactly was he planning to kill? If, as he said, most of the school was to be out of the way at the memorial, nobody important would be left at the castle for him to murder.
"So who is to be ze lucky victim?" she asked sarcastically.

"It's a personal project." Dale answered, sinking into one of the high backed chairs. He pondered whether he should tell them. They may not trust him if he didn't tell them now; but so what? They'll know by tomorrow.
"I don't think it really matters." He turned to Juliet, growing tired of answering to Brigitte. "Does it?"

you neck, legs, arms, and head when you perform acts for this society. Every little thing done by the Deathaters should be done for the Death Eaters and with the Death Eaters. If you wish to place the dark mark in the skies of Hogwarts, you are representing every Death Eater that was loyal to Voldmeort and Loyal to me." "For that, I can not have you kill someone at Hogwarts when you won't even tell us whom the person is, not when you are going to do it. If you dared to bring this subject up in front of the Death Eaters and myself, you owe us at least that much."[/ul]

Dale nodded. "Right you are, Juliet. You're the boss." His eyes darted towards Brigitte briefly. "Which is why I called you here to ask if you wanted the Mark above the school while I'm there. If not knowing bothers you, then, I'll take that as a no, and it will remain a personal affair." To Dale, it was a simple as that.
He stood up again to better address the room at large. He was ready to shift gear now; to the other reason he had called his audience here. "I trust we are not doing anything else that day, then." Dale said, his tone becoming sharper. "You are the boss, Juliet, but you're also the leader. I understand the situation with your wand and recognize that it is indeed rather unfortunate. But we need to do something. Anything."
Dale had no desire of his own for leadership, in fact he didn't even consider moving to have Juliet replaced. He just wanted her to take action.
"We want to know where we are going next."

Brigitte watched the exchange between Dale and Juliet somewhat sulkily; she did not like being left out of things, nor did she like the fact that Dale was behaving as though he was somehow 'above' the Death Eaters. She didn't trust him.
She backed away from Juliet slightly and glanced once more over to Dale, tossing her thick dark hair out of her eyes and glaring at him out of eyes that burned in the gloom like twin embers. Despite her mistrust for Dale, part of her was longing to accompany him; it had been so long since Brigitte had had the pleasure of marauding...she hardly counted the past few months that they'd been out of Azkaban - everything had had to be covert, and hushed up. She longed to move into the open again, to cut down everyone in her path and revel in it. A jolt of pleasure went through her as she pictured the murder, and an eerie, sensual smile curved her lips upward. She almost felt like purring.

. If you feel that this person is worth death upon him, then let.. us help." Juliet paused to wait what the man would say. She was ever so interested to the response he was going to give. [/ul]

Dale let out a little noise that served as an obvious sign of his lack of patience. "Can't a guy announce his plans to murder someone without everyone wanting to join in these days?" he said. His attempts to appear aloof and distant about the work he was about to undertake was all he could do to avoid showing how much it all meant to him.
"This is something I have to do myself." Dale assured them. "If you're all bloodthirsty, then go attack someone somewhere else. Hell, maybe our Lord could organize something."

Post by Jakob Rosenbell (Desert Fox) on Jul 8, 2009 7:31:20 GMT -7
Jakob had been present in the room since the bulk of the meeting had begun. He was in his human form the whole time, but may as well have been a fox, leaning into a dark corner of the shack listening in on everybody else's conversation. He would have actually taken his more comfortable fox form, had he not been keeping his status as an animagus a secret from the Death Eaters for the past few years. He wasn't trying to conceal himself from them - it was just his natural inclination to stay away from conversation unless he actually felt the need to speak.
Jakob didn't like where their conversation was heading. He could sense the tensions rising in the room and Jakob did not want Dale to make an enemy out of Juliet, being quite comfortable with the way things were now. He decided to make a subject change.
"Perhaps," he began, stepping into the light as the heads of some of the Death Eaters turned, "we should make something more of this Hogwarts trip. There are a lot of valuables in the castle. We could use the Galleons, I think." Jakob knew that Juliet had Dale managing the Death Eater's finances due to his background in the field. He wondered whether Revan would be interested in black-market Hogwarts relics. He would have to keep an eye on Dale's plans.
