Dale did not break eye contact with Jakob even as Juliet spoke. He was a peculiar man sometimes, and Dale couldn't help but wonder if there was something that Jakob wanted for himself inside the castle. He knew that Jakob had worked there before the Battle of Hogsmeade, but couldn't make any sort of connection to something he'd want. Still, he trusted Jakob, even though he seemed to fancy Juliet somewhat.
Dale turned again to Juliet. "Yes, you're not wrong, Madame..." he began. Dale would rather not any distractions on his mission, be they 'backup' or extra targets. It was going to be difficult enough already. "Our finances remain secure, dear Jakob. In fact, I've actually made contact again with a great benefactor who helped us immensely during our days in control of the Ministry." This was a total lie, of course, but Dale would remember to follow through with it. "So you should need not worry about our finances."

Brigitte glared at Dale and Juliet equally in turn, disbelief marring her features. "Zis is ridiculous," she snapped, directing her fury mostly at Dale. "Why bother to tell us you plan to murder at all if you don't want any of us involved?"
Turning to Juliet, she threw her hands out in an appealing gesture, speaking rapidly in French. "Why do you not make him tell us? You are our leader, he is being disrespectful! He is trying to usurp you and I resent it!" She turned back towards Dale and flew at him once more. "Who do you think you are?" she growled. "Acting like our leader, working on your own, refusing to associate yourself with the Death Eaters - either you are a Death Eater or you are not, we do not make our own plans and act on them without our leader having knowledge of it!"
She crossed her arms and continued to glower around the room. She truly believed that she was right; if Dale was a Death Eater, it was impossibly rude of him to presume that he could make plans in regards to murder without clearing it with the other Death Eaters - or at least Juliet. If the Dark Lord was still in power, Dale would never have dared such autonomy. When would the Death Eaters reform and become as powerful as they once had been? Everything had been steadily falling apart since their breakout from Azkaban...at least, it seemed that way to Brigitte. But then again, it had been a while since she'd killed someone. Maybe she was just strung out.

Dale stood there, listening to Brigitte, appearing unnerved but for a flicker of annoyance in his eyelids and a subtle look of content upon his face. When she was done, he turned to Juliet momentarily, as if about to just hand the decision over to her, but then thought better of it. The look on Brigitte's face suggested that if he didn't let her in on his murder plot, that she would murder him... so he felt he better answer her directly. He took a deep breath out, trying to keep his temper in check given his intimations that most of the room was in favour with Brigitte.
"I do beg your pardon, Brigitte, but how at all have I refused to associate myself with the Death Eaters? It seems to me like we don't want to be associated with a murder on Hogwarts grounds, and I can understand why one would want that to be the case. I will happily cast the Mark over Hogwarts if that's what Mademoiselle thinks is best for the Death Eaters.
"As for working on my own - I wasn't aware that we were not allowed to do anything outside of the Death Eaters anymore. Whatever happened to our new leadership, Brigitte - an actual leader, an administrator, one who represents the Death Eaters rather than rules over them." Dale was sure he had heard Juliet or some of her closer supporters talking in such a way. Dale personally didn't believe it for a second, but it certainly would pressure Juliet to get on-side against Brigitte and reinforce her own integrity amongst the group.
"I am not harming our kind, my mission is not malicious or for material gain which I'm keeping for myself, I -" He stumbled for a moment while his conscience avoided the truth he knew within himself that this murder, in the name of "revenge", was not one of passion but of a desire to make himself feel better. He didn't feel an overwhelming hatred towards his target, or a desire to make them suffer - he just hoped that once they were dead he would feel better about himself and his own life. Logically it made no sense, Dale was searching for a cure, but he kept telling himself how much he hated the target and how much he needed him to die, so that he would feel better...
"It's personal. It's dangerous. It's covert, and that's why I can't allow any of you to join me." Dale said, addressing the room at large. Then to Brigitte again, "Why can't you understand that I'm trying to do the right thing by informing you of my plans? On such an important day, it's important to try and communicate. If someone else in the group was planning something similar, there could be numerous complications couldn't there?" He turned again to Juliet, nodding courteously. "What say you, Mademoiselle?"

Adrian decided to speak up, and actually, it was for the defense of Mr. Dale.
"I think... it would be better for Dale to... Go with his vengeance." he said, stepping into the circle. "Maybe that way, more twists and turns could unfold for us in the future.
Adrian was seeing this as a trap, or a trigger at least. If Matthew... fails at the accomplishments he wishes to churn, then their society would be getting rid of such a... nuisance.
However, if he succeeds, then just maybe they can use this attack as a.. decoy for something else. If Matthew was going to go into Hogwarts or whatever spot that was going to attack attention, Madame Lee, Bridgette, and himself could all figure out another thing to do during the meantime.
Funny how you could use even your own followers to your advantage, don't you think?

((Oh Adrian, you dog. Not that you need to change your post or anything, but just remember that earlier in this thread Dale was berating Juliet for having not planned anything for tommorrow. Kind of relevant. Not sure why they would need to get rid of Dale to go do their own plan but I could understand Adrian thinking that way. Waiting for Brigitte/Juliet to post first.))

((OOC:
Just to comment back. Adrian is not... fond of you presence. He is the type of person that doesn't get along with others easily. He is also selfish, and seeing how you are attracting Juliet's attention, he has come across of despising you.
There is no plan. You are right about this. However, he is willing to try to use your attack as an advantage for doing something else. Nothing planned yet, but hopefully Juliette and James could negotiate something together to make things even more interesting. ))

Juliet was stuck between two walls, and what seemed like impossible to get out of. Slowly, the both sides started to come closer to where she was standing. Juliet imagined herself looking to the right and seeing Bridgette saying to her what was coming to the left hand side. She looked to the left, and saw Matthew's bricks flying at her like some kind of bombardment.
The decision she was going to make would last her a life time. One will forever be angry. She had to choose. Had to choose now what path the Death Eaters would take, and what eventually would lead them to the gains they hope to make. Juliet, after thinking for a few seconds spoke up.
"What time would this be happening?" she said, allowing Matthew to pursue his plans.

((Yeah, I totally understand, just thought it was worth commenting is all.))
Dale smiled wildly, appreciating Juliet's uncharacteristic flair and sense of humour. "Late morning, I suspect. Provided the Ministry doesn't have any extra surprises for the Hogwarts security." He swallowed, a look of concern at the magnitude of his task crossing his face. He nodded his thanks to Juliet.
Dale's attention turned now to Brigitte, waiting to gauge her reaction to his little victory. He had come into this meeting expecting to maybe make an enemy out of Juliet, if not with his "secret" plan than with his attacks on her leadership abilities. Maybe his little compliment had worked, maybe Juliet was actually afraid of him, but something had made her accept his proposal. Apparently Dale had just made a friend out of Juliet and an enemy out of Brigitte, which was the exact opposite of what he had been expecting. It wasn't necessarily a bad thing - Juliet was certainly more powerful than Brigitte - but he wasn't prepared for it and didn't quite know how to handle Brigitte next if she remained hostile.
While Dale was indeed grateful for Juliet's gesture, and her loyalty would not be forgotten, it would take more than that to prove her worth to him as their leader again.

Brigitte was disgusted. What had happened to all of them? They had become weak, ineffectual. Juliet was siding with Dale, allowing him to act on his own, without revealing motives or plans...what good could come of this? She was sure that Dale's reasoning for this attack had nothing whatsoever to do with the Death Eaters...why else would he remain so hesitant to cast the Dark Mark over the castle, or share his plans with the others? And what was Juliet playing at, allowing him to remain so secretive?
"Fine," she said after a moment, her voice shaking with barely repressed fury. "Do what you wish. After all Juliet, you are our leader." The sarcasm was harder to detect when she spoke in English. "If we 'ave nothing else, I must be going."
Without waiting for a response from the others, she stormed from the room, Apparating out a moment later before anyone could stop her. If Juliet wasn't going to check Dale, Brigitte would.

Juliette commented in French to Brigitte. However, she did not look at her not even peeked at her for one moment.
"Do not mistake me for siding with the man, Brigette but note that he was a follower of Voldemort and someone, who like us, is mark with the scar.." Of course, Juliette was referring to where the Dark Mark use to be. The place where a black snake and a fierce skull pierced their skin and veins. Juliette will forever remember the day she got hers. The witch wanted Brigette to be remembered of the pain every wizard went through when getting the dark mark.
"I am not blind either, Brigitte. This man is up to something, I know it too. However, remember that traps work both ways.
And the reason why she did not look was because of this; Juliet wanted to give the impression that she was translating what she said in french.. "In other words, Dale, do not disappoint me. For disappointment is a lack of strength and faith in one's master."
Juliette came a little bit closer to the man. Speaking in French, and assuming that he would know this much, she spoke. "Comprendez-vous?" she said showing the respect she had for him.

Dale cocked an eyebrow. He didn't understand Juliet now. Well, of course, she was speaking in French - but she was acting in a way that he didn't at all trust. He hardly doubted Brigitte needed translating, they were clearly trying to communicate without him knowing. This idea was unsettling to Dale. Now he would have to watch out for both the Ministry and his own Death Eater companions. He should never have said anything. Had Brigitte not stormed out, Dale might have shared more of his plan with the whole group in order to appease them but there seemed little point now.

Jakob remained in the background, listening intently to everything that was happening. Silently, his mind was racing. The instability amongst the Death Eaters was unsettling. Revan wanted them to stay together, for as long as he needed to use them as a tool against the Ministry. Juliet and Brigitte's behavior was cause for concern - whatever was going on, tomorrow was shaping up to be a very interesting day. He and Revan needed to talk as soon as possible. Revan was most fluent in French, maybe he would be able to decipher what was going on if he were to dip into the scene through a pensieve.
For now, though, Jakob thought it was best to remain at the meeting. Juliet still trusted him, so he would talk to her once Dale was out of earshot.

((Nobody else, then?))
Dale took to his spot back by the window. He could see movement down in the village below. Indistinguishable, of course, from up here... Hogsmeade must be rather full at this point. In years past the ceremonies at Hogwarts had attracted quite a crowd, and since they no longer had the Hog's Head to help lighten the load (Dale wasn't quite sure whether he should feel pride or not) they would be full to the brim. Dale was nearly surprised that tourists weren't bursting into the Shrieking Shack to seek accommodation; in hindsight it probably wasn't the best choice of meeting location. Good thing they seemed to be done anyway.
Dale turned back to Juliet. "Thank-you, Madame Lee," Dale said. "I will not forget this favour. You will understand soon enough. Please contact me if anything changes." He nodded at the rest of the Death Eaters. "I best get some rest, thank-you all for your patience and your attendance tonight." And with that, he turned on his heel and vanished with a crack.

Juliet, too looked out the window and stared into the distance. Bridgette... She was not happy at all. Not one bit. Grant it, she was completely thrown aback when Juliet sided with Dale, but there were reasons for it. She couldn't have kept her Death Eaters all locked up. They are not animals. Not birds whom can be released when tired of. Like Dale said, they needed something to do.
Juliet would have to talk to Bridgette later, but right now, she noticed that Jakob was still here. He was the only one left, and for that, Juliet gave a clever smile. "You too have something else to say Jakob?" she said, not looking to the wizard. "An opinion on what is going to happen, I presume?"
